Trust Distributions
A trustee’s most important duty is to invest the money wisely and to distribute the special needs trust funds in a way that will best serve the needs of the trust’s beneficiary. Improper distributions can decrease or even eliminate government benefits. Therefore, the trustee must always be aware of strategies for using the trust to supplement existing public benefits.
